Ace Consulting is the Owners Corporation Manager of Ace Body Corporate Management (Pentridge), and is a member of Strata Community Australia (SCA) Victoria.

Ian Ross is a director and Business Development Manager of Ace of Body Corporate Consulting.
Ian has had a career of over twenty-five years in the property industry and has specialised in Owners Corporation management for well over 20 years. He previously managed two of Melbourne’s largest Owners Corporation management firms. During his career, Ian gained extensive experience in most aspects of real estate, including sales and property management.
Ian is a qualified and licensed Real Estate Agent and also holds a Certificate IV training qualification. He has provided consultancy services to numerous Owners Corporations and is actively involved in their day-to-day management as well.
He has developed and conducted numerous training courses, including an industry based course and delivered this for almost ten years at the REIV. Ian was a member of the Body Corporate Management Chapter and held the position of chairman for two years. He was also elected as a delegate to member’s council for a number of years. Ian was a recipient of the most prestigious award for industry excellence by the REIV.
He has also been actively involved in the lobbying of government and was a representative on the Victorian Government's Consultative Committee for amendments to the previous legislation.
Ian is a recipient of the highest institute award FSM (Fellow Strata Manager) by SCA Vic (Strata Communities Australia Victoria) and is an active member of the executive for the Victorian chapter for Strata Communities Australia.
Ian believes that communication, continuity and common sense are all essential components in the effective establishment and ongoing management of Owners Corporations. In addition to being conversant with the relevant legislation, an effective manager needs to develop a comprehensive understanding of the particular needs and issues relating to each Owners Corporation.
Julie McLean is a director Ace Body Corporate Consulting and National Training Manager of Ace Body Corporate Management.
Julie has over 20 years’ experience in the building construction industry. She has been involved in design and construction of mechanical services for commercial buildings and has managed building services for leased premises, as well as a NATA quality system for a scientific organisation.
She has a Bachelor of Engineering, Graduate Certificate’s in Contract Management, Energy Management, Diploma of Mechanical Services, ISO Internal technical Auditor; and is currently completing the Certificate IV in Property Services (Operations) and Certificate IV in Assessment and Training.
Julie has been on the SCA (Vic) committee since 2005 and is an active member of the executive for the Victorian chapter and assists on sub-committees for ethics, education and membership. She has attained the highest institute award FSM (Fellow Strata Manager) by SCA Vic.
Julie presents at a number of state government, council and peak industry stakeholders on sustainability in strata.
Stephen Raff is the CEO and founder of Ace Body Corporate Management.
He founded Ace Body Corporate Management in 1995 and began franchising in 1998. Ace has grown to become one of Australia’s largest strata title management firms with a branch in Singapore.
Prior to body corporate management, Stephen worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years to become National Sales Manager and National Training Manager. He obtained several certificates in the medical and business field.
Stephen has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, is a qualified Surveyor for Retirement Villages, an Accredited Mediator, and he holds a Master’s Degree in Management, among a number of other qualifications and post-nominals, including Fellow Strata Manager (FSM). He has lectured for the Certificate IV in Property Services (Operations) course at RMIT.
Stephen has been involved with and on committees of SCA (Vic) since 1998. He is an active member of the executive for the Victorian chapter for Strata Communities Australia and has served as President (2009-2012). He also maintains membership with other state institutes and attends their seminars and conventions.
Stephen is also the author of The Body Corporate Handbook. A Guide to Buying, Owning and Living in a Strata Scheme or Owners Corporation in Australia, and he co-authored the bestselling book, Top Franchise CEOs’ Secrets Revealed. In addition to contributing chapters to several books and writing his autobiography, he regularly contributes articles for publications like newspapers and franchise guides.
Ray Easterbrook is a Certified Practising Strata Manager (CPSM) and has been a strata manager and Ace franchisee since 1999.
Ray previously worked in the childcare industry as an owner/manager of multiple childcare centres. Ray was also an owners corporation secretary for many years which ultimately led him to become a strata manager.
Ray enjoys maintaining his strata industry Continuing Professional Development by regularly attending numerous strata conferences and workshops in Victoria, interstate, and internationally.
As a long-time resident living near the beach, he is well aware of the harsh conditions experienced and is a specialist in the area. Ray’s length and breadth of experience means he has seen almost every issue that can be raised with an Owners Corporation.
