Andrew Jakes is the Strata Manager of Ace Body Corporate Management (Sydney CBD), and is a member of Strata Community Association (SCA) New South Wales.

Prior to joining Ace Body Corporate Management, Andrew was an Information Technology consultant for five years at the Strata Industry's leading bank.

His previous IT career in local councils, telecommunications and finance spanned Australia, New Zealand and the UK and always had a strong focus on customer service.

Andrew has extensive experience in property investment, finance and business systems but considers himself primarily a "people person". He was drawn to Ace Body Corporate Management by his desire to bring all these skills together in his own company that would connect him with his local community.

A proud Inner-Westie since arriving in Sydney from the UK in the eighties, he became the first Ace Strata Manager in NSW when he opened the Balmain branch in his home suburb in 2005. He quickly discovered there was a huge need in the community for a strata management company that was small enough to offer a highly personalised local service but also had the resources and back up of a large national group. Many more Ace offices would soon follow to fill this need in Sydney and beyond, leading Andrew to combine his strata management role with Area Development Manager to oversee the growth of the group in NSW.

Andrew is a member of the Licensed Manager Chapter of the NSW Institute of Strata Title Management. And his interests include golf, football (all codes), cycling and having fun with his wife and two children (especially when he’s coaching them in their local football teams).

Tin Nguyen is the Chief Financial Officer at ACE Sydney CBD and also the Strata Manager of Ace Body Corporate Management (Liverpool), and a member of Strata Community Association (SCA) New South Wales.

Tin is responsible for managing both the company and client budgets and forecasting. He has a strong background in Accounting along with his 7 years’ experience in the strata industry. Tin holds a Bachelor of Commerce, with a double major in Accounting and Finance from Curtin University.

He maintains a keen interest in computing, technology and general affairs in the Asia-Pacific region. Tin supports the Strata Management team with all IT related procedures that ensure the smooth digital operations of the company.

Tin is fluent in English and Vietnamese.

 

Simon Hage is the Operations Manager at ACE Body Corporate Management (Syndey CBD) and the Licensee and Strata Manager of Ace Body Corporate Management (Brookvale). Simon also retains membership of the NSW Chapter of Strata Community Association (SCA).

Simon completed a Diploma in Real Estate in the early 2000’s, and has had a close association with property and land dealings for many years before becoming a Licensed Strata Manager to specialise his attention in this important sector of the industry.

Previously Simon owned and managed several successful commercial enterprises creating and completing business opportunities in Europe, the Americas, Asia and throughout Australia.

Simon also brings with him over ten years’ experience within the hospitality industry, having worked his way up from bus-boy to senior management roles within the five-star hotel sector. It’s his love of ‘service’ that stands Simon in good stead within the Strata Management Industry – both within his own team’s operations, but also through the strata scheme interrelationships with owners, committees and contractors.

Simon is active in his community, enjoys the theatre, the arts, gardening, the beaches and loves to spend every spare moment with his ever growing family.

Lindy Song is the Finance Manager at Ace Body Corporate Management (Sydney CBD).

Lindy arrived in Australia, from China in 2008 and completed a Master of Professional Accounting degree at Curtin University. After graduating, she worked as an accountant for a Chinese supermarket in Sydney before joining the Sydney strata community as Head of Accounts at Ace (Sydney CBd) in 2011.

Lindy is dedicated with strong work ethics demonstrated through her commitment to ongoing learning to develop and understand strata title management and services. She obtained a Certificate of Registration in Strata Management which she updates regularly to ensure she is current with the requirements to support the management team.

Lindy adds to her achievements the purchase of an apartment and becoming an active committee member of her strata scheme and appreciates the insights provided by this firsthand experience.

Lindy is fluent in Mandarin and enjoys reading a variety of books and listening to music.
